Export Information
Important information for buyers purchasing Japanese used vehicles from Nippon Vehicles. Please review our reservation, payment, shipping, and document handling terms before placing an order.
Standard Terms of Trade
Unless otherwise stated, a vehicle is reserved for three business days. A minimum 50% payment is required within the reservation period. If payment is not received within the reservation period, the order may be cancelled automatically.
The shipping procedure will begin once we receive the deposit agreed between the customer and Nippon Vehicles. After full payment is received, export documents will be prepared and sent by courier when applicable.

Shipping Terms
- FOB
- Free On Board. This is the cost of the vehicle excluding ocean freight. FOB price includes the vehicle cost and Japan-side expenses until loading on the ship in Japan.
- C&F / CFR
- Cost and Freight. This includes the vehicle cost and ocean freight to the destination port. Insurance is not included unless separately arranged.
- CIF
- Cost, Insurance and Freight. If insurance is required, please ask our team for confirmation before payment.
Payment Methods
- T/T
- Telegraphic Transfer / Wire Transfer. This is our main payment method. It is generally the fastest and safest method for international vehicle purchases.
- L/C
- Letter of Credit. We may receive Letters of Credit at sight from selected countries. Please contact our team before arranging an L/C.

All export information is subject to final confirmation by Nippon Vehicles. Local import duties, taxes, inspection, and registration costs are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
